Alongside the sale of the Collection From Italy to France, a European Passion, the Old Master & 19^th Century Art department will hold two sales on 9^th and 10^th June 2021, featuring Old Master and 19^th Century, Paintings & drawings as well as Terracotta & other Sculptures.

With more than 350 lots, these auctions are composed of numerous collections that have remained hidden from view until now. Many of these paintings, drawings and sculptures will be offered for the first time at auction. Among the highlights are an exceptional Sarah Bernhardt in terracotta by Prosper d'Epinay, the major rediscovery of a portrait of Baron Gérard, a watercolour by Eugène Delacroix, a bronze bust of Napoleon I and some very fine portraits of French kings from the Renaissance, such as François I.
