Artcurial’s dedicated department has been showcasing the most prestigious wines, champagnes and spirits on the market for many years, for drinking, cellaring or investment.

Headed by experts Laurie Matheson and Luc Dabadie, alongside WSET qualified specialist Marie Calzada, the department is internationally recognised as a market leader for its expertise and presentation of high-quality wines, particularly through their provenance. The team organises up to 6 sales per year, auctioning over 1,000 lots per session, and also supports partners in the organisation of charity sales.

True to its commitment to collectors, the department assists them in building up or enriching their cellars. Artcurial regularly sells fine private collections and large ensembles of wines from renowned hotels and restaurants, including the cellar of the Laurent restaurant in 2022, which raised over €1.7m.

With estates and châteaux in demand worldwide, the Bordeaux wines of Ausone, Cheval Blanc, Mouton Rothschild, Latour, Margaux, Pétrus and d’Yquem are particularly popular. In Burgundy, the domains of Romanée-Conti, Henri Jayer and De Vögué are among the best, while in the Rhone Valley, the big names are Château Rayas, Hermitage la Chapelle and Domaine de la Mordorée. As for champagnes, Jacques Selosse, Jacquesson and Krug Clos du Mesnil are the leaders.

Artcurial’s specialists are at your disposal for free and confidential valuations of your bottles or your cellar.
