MV Agusta présente un scooter entièrement nouveau au Salon de Milan 1959. Le Chicco est équipé d'un nouveau moteur deux temps de 155 cm3 à cylindre horizontal, refroidi par air forcé développant 5,8 ch à 5 200 tr/mn, logé dans une coque autoporteuse en tôle d'acier avec garde boue avant fixe. Produit à seulement 3131 exemplaires, c'est le dernier scooter produit par MV Agusta et cet exemplaire, restauré il y a douze ans et jamais utilisé depuis, mérite toute l'attention des collectionneurs. En effet, quel plaisir que de se balader sur un scooter de la marque aux trente-sept titres de champion du monde des constructeurs dans les rues de Rome ou de Florence…

MV Agusta introduced a whole new scooter at the Milan Motor Show in 1959. The Chicco features a new 155cc flat, two-stroke and forced air-cooled engine, producing 5.8hp at 5,200 rpm, enclosed within a self-bearing steel bodywork frame and a fixed front mudguard. With only 3,131 units manufactured, this is the last scooter produced by MV Agusta and this specific example, restored 12 years ago and not used ever since, deserves the greatest attention from collectors. Indeed, what a pleasure it is to ride a scooter produced by a thirty-seven-time Manufacturers' World Champion in the streets of Rome or Florence.
