Au Salon de Genève 1950, MV Agusta présente un scooter, d'abord dénommé Popolare, puis CGT (C Gran Turismo). Cette version dérivée du CSL en conservait le moteur et la partie avant.
Le moteur à boîte 4 vitesses commandées au pied développait 5 ch à 4 800 tr/mn et permettait d'atteindre 80 km/h. Bien pensé, le CGT était proposé à un tarif concurrentiel et resta deux années au catalogue (4 500 exemplaires produits) avant de céder sa place à l'Ovunque.
Ce modèle, qui fait partie de la seconde série avec le phare incorporé au tablier (auparavant, le phare était monté sur le guidon), a été restauré il y a une vingtaine d'années et n'a jamais roulé depuis.

The 1950 Geneva Motor Show saw the launch of MV Agusta's CGT (C Gran Turismo) scooter, formerly known as Popolare. An evolution of the CSL model, it featured the same engine and front section. The engine with its 4-speed foot-operated gearbox produced 5hp at 4,800 rpm and could reach 80 km/h. The well thought-out CGT was sold at a competitive price and was featured in the catalogue for two years (manufactured at 4,500 examples) before giving way to Ovunque. This second series model, distinctive with its built-in headlight (it was previously mounted on the handlebars) was restored about twenty years ago and has never been on the road since.
