Ce coach Talbot présente une belle carrosserie fine et élancée, dont le long capot dissimule un six-cylindres 3 litres à soupapes en tête développant 90 ch, à une époque où les voitures de tourisme plafonnaient à 40 ch. C'était un nouveau moteur mis au point par Walter Becchia à la demande d'Antony Lago, alors directeur technique du constructeur. Cette voiture répond donc à la réputation sportive de la marque et son habitacle est là pour en témoigner : sièges bas en cuir marron très bien préservé, tableau de bord doté de beaux instruments Jaeger avec compteur de vitesses gradué jusqu'à 160 km/h, compte-tours avec zone "hachurée" (elle n'était pas encore rouge) à 4 250 tr/mn, ce qui était assez rapide pour l'époque, et compteur kilométrique affichant 31 434 km. Elle est équipée d'une boîte Wilson dont le levier apparaît à gauche du volant, et l'on peut lire la plaque d'un ancien propriétaire : "M. Bouin Guérin, Minotier, La crèche, 25". Une ancienne immatriculation apparaît également, 514 AV 7.
La voiture paraît dans l'ensemble assez saine et complète, et elle saura séduire un passionné capable d'apprécier sa sobre sportivité.

This Talbot sedan has a nice, slim and sleek body, with a long bonnet concealing a 3-liter six-cylinder OHV engine, developing 90bhp, at a time when most passenger cars could barely manage 40bhp. It was a new engine developed by Walter Becchia, upon the request of Antony Lago, technical director of the manufacturer. This car thus reflects the sporting reputation of the brand and its interior is there to testify: brown leather seats which are still well preserved, a dashboard featuring lovely Jaeger instruments, with the speedometer calibrated up to 160 km/h, the tachometer with zone marked to 4250rpm (red was still not in vogue then), which was fast enough for the time and the odometer showing 31,434 kilometers. The car has a Wilson pre-selector gear box, which the command on the left of the steering wheel, and you can read the plaque of a former owner: "Mr. Bouin Guerin Minotier, Crèche, 25". An old registration - 514 AV 7 - can also be seen.
The car seems to be overall in a sound and complete condition, and will appeal to an enthusiast who will be able to appreciate this beautiful car's understated sportiness.
